- Have a passion for the environment and sustainability
- Have an interest in specific and workable technical solutions to interesting problems
- Enjoy working with other technically minded individuals

Welcome to Engineers for a Sustainable World NYC. We are here to design, build, and educate in partnership with community organizations to improve the quality of life for New Yorkers. We want everyone to feel comfortable asking questions, learning new things, and engaging at whatever capacity they can. We ask that your conduct be guided by the desire to help us create an inclusive, encouraging, and diverse environment free of intimidation and harassment. We are an eighteen and over organization.
Comments, actions, or visual displays which demean, harass, or insult others are not permitted. This includes those which target a person’s race, creed, ethnicity, age, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, physical appearance, or ability.
Engineers for a Sustainable World NYC reserves the right to summarily eject any individual who recklessly endangers others, acts in violation of the code outlined above, or otherwise behaves poorly.
